Go Fish! The Creative Kitchen loves these adorable fishy bag clips from our friends at Shrockie. The kid friendly design is fun and easy to use, perfect for tiny fingers, and most importantly keeps food fresh!

From the Eyes of a Kid:

The fish mouth holds onto the bag! The fish come in lots of different colors too.

From the Mind of a Parent:

These are so much better than those twist-ties and other clips I use to hold my bags of food closed. I love that they click in to hold on tight, so my food stays fresher than they would with other bag clips. Plus, my kids love their fun shape and play with them when they’re not being used!

Flavorful Features:

The Icing on the Cake:

These bag clips are magnetic! They stick to the refrigerator for easy access and add some fun to your kitchen when they’re not in use.

Mix It Up!:

Not only are the fish clips great for keeping opened bags of food closed and fresh, fish clips can also help organize by holding loose wires and cords together.

Product Review: Wild Planet Tuna https://www.thecreativekitchen.com/product-review-wild-planet-tuna/ https://www.thecreativekitchen.com/product-review-wild-planet-tuna/#respond Tue, 06 Aug 2013 08:00:28 +0000 http://www.thecreativekitchen.com/?p=5407

Sometimes there is nothing more comforting than a classic tuna melt on a rainy day but, with recent mercury scares, how do you know which tuna to choose? We love that our friends at Wild Planet only catch smaller fishes making the mercury concentration of their tuna, less than half, of other national brands. AND, they pack the fish in BPA free cans, this way the only thing you have to worry about, is making sure everyone shares!

From the Mouth of a Kid:

Taste just like the sandwiches grandma makes, and these fish pieces are bigger, so I can take a bigger bite!

From the Eyes of a Parent:

I love that the fish is sustainably caught and packed without chemicals, and I especially love that I can see and taste the difference! The fish pieces are firmer and larger than the regular shredded brands…it feels gourmet, and I like knowing my kids are not ingesting as much mercury!

Flavorful Features

The Icing on the Cake:

Wild Planet Wild Albacore Tuna is available: With Sea Salt, With No Salt Added, and In Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  Wild Planet also provides other fresh seafood options such as salmon, shrimp, and crab.

Time to Eat:

Mix It up:

Wild Planet’s website includes recipes for a Lemony Tuna Melt and a Salad Nicoise!
