Here at The Creative Kitchen, like any busy mom, we love multitasking! Which is why we’re big fans of This Bar Saves Lives. Not only are their nut-and-fruit bars tasty, convenient, and packed with nutrition, but as part of the “buy one, give one” movement, every purchase helps treat and prevent global hunger for children. So you can feel good about your purchase while also enjoying a delicious snack. They’re a win-win!

From the Mouth of a Kid:

The vanilla tastes so yummy with the honey in it!

My kids love all three flavors (though the vanilla seems to be the favorite in the house!) I love these bars because they’re a quick and easy snack to grab on the way to one of our after-school activities. Plus, for every bar you buy, This Bar Saves Lives delivers a packet of life-saving Plumpy’Nut® or Nutributter® to a child in need, which makes me feel like I’m doing good for others, and is an easy starting point to talk about larger issues like hunger with my kids.

Flavorful Features:LOGO 1

This Bar Saves Lives comes in three flavors:

  • Dark chocolate cherry and sea salt
  • Madagascar vanilla and honey
  • Wild blueberry and pistachio

The Icing on the Cake:

All the bars are made in America, with non-GMO and ethically-sourced ingredients like wild blueberries from Maine, roasted pistachios from California, and clover honey from Wisconsin. Plus, every bar contains Omega-3-rich flax seeds.

Good to Go?

Yes! Because each bar is individually wrapped, they’re easy to stash in a bag or in the car.

Time to Eat?!

Any time–but best enjoyed as a snack on the go.

Mix It Up!

Swirl crumbles of your favorite bar into yogurt or frozen yogurt, or sprinkle over hot cereal for added texture and flavor!

From the Mouth of a Kid:

“Gooey, crunchy and sweet, the coconut almond is the best!”

Beyond crafting award-winning foods, KIND aims to make the world a little kinder through its KIND Movement, which has inspired hundreds of thousands of unexpected acts of kindness around the world.

As part of the KIND Movement, KIND launched Do the KIND Thing through which it challenges its community to carry out a specific act of kindness each month. If-and-only-if enough people sign up to carry out that act of kindness on KINDmovement.com, KIND will partner with a nonprofit organization to carry out a BIG KIND Act for a group of people that really needs it.

This month, KIND is challenging its community to donate a new or used item of clothing to a local shelter or someone in need.  If enough people sign up to do so, KIND will partner with the Kyle Korver Foundation to provide new school uniforms for hundreds of children in need who are gearing up for a new school year.
